Staffordshire University and University of Wolverhampton - Research Study 2018/19
Over the 2018/19 season researchers from Staffordshire University and Wolverhampton University will be conducting a research study in collaboration with Tibberton Netball Club. This study is aimed at investigating the interplay between performance and well-being across the season, and is an exciting opportunity for the club and the players to be involved in cutting-edge research in sport and exercise psychology.
Some of our girls have already taken part in Phase 1 of the study during elite trials earlier this year. We would now like to invite all club players to participate in Phase 2, which will take place over the season between September and April.
Participant information sheets which contain more details about the study can be found below. There is a participant information sheet for parents, and there are also age-appropriate information sheets for the players. Please share the appropriate information sheet with your daughter.
If you are happy for your daughter to take part, you do not have to do anything right now! The research team will be attending your daughters training session to explain the study and ask her to complete a questionnaire.
Please note, if you do not want your daughter to participate in the study, please return the refusal form (at the end of the parent’s information sheet) to me at firstname.lastname@example.org before your daughter's next training session.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact myself or Dr Elizabeth Braithwaite, whose details are included in the information sheet.
