JUNE BYRNE

CLUB MANAGER

June Byrne LOVES NETBALL. June enjoys all aspects of the game from managing the club through to being a spectator. She is in the fortunate position of being able to dedicate her time and efforts into all areas of netball from local to regional. After heading up the club for the past 20 years she accepts that the role of administering the 250 club membership needs more volunteer input. This year at the AGM the club management was split into three sections, Elite, Senior and Junior. Three new managers were appointed and June looks forward to handing over the reigns and being able to take a bit of a back seat.

Junes experiences of being a manager stem from starting and building the club into a Golds Caps Accredited Club and also serving as the Manager of the Shropshire County Netball Association.

 

 

LINDSEY GLOVER

ELITE MANAGER

Lindsey joined Tibberton Netball Club when Star netball team joined forces with Tibberton to become their Elite senior team, now Tibberton Star.

Lindsey has been involved with Netball at every level, from coaching her daughters at Primary school and following their path from County U14's to County Seniors and onwards through National Clubs League to seeing their success at National level, taking on multiple roles on the way!

She attributes their success to the years of dedicated coaching and support from volunteers. She believes that the opportunities afforded by a club with the pedigree of Tibberton are paramount to the progression of young players and is pleased to be able to offer advice and support to them and their parents.
Lindsey is also a "C" Award umpire and Star's accredited Scorer.

 

 

SIOBHAN PRITCHARD

SENIOR MANAGER

Siobhan joined Tibberton netball club back in 1997, as a player but has since taken on various roles within the Club and County.

She represented Shropshire County at U18 level, and continues to play in the Dynamos team which she has been captain of for 3 years.

Last year Siobhan took on the role of administrator within the club training sessions and also league administrator’s role this summer at the Tibberton Junior Summer League.

Currently Siobhan holds the position of Senior Manager working along side June, ensuring the smooth running of this section of the club.

Siobhan also sits on the Shropshire Junior Netball League committee where she holds the position of League Administrator.

 

 

NICOLETTE BYRNE

JUNIOR MANAGER

This season Nicolette takes on the role of Junior Manager, and is very much looking forward to the new challenge.

As previously mentioned, Nicolette has held various positions within the Club over the years, but really enjoys working with the juniors, as she finds it most rewarding.

Following in June’s footsteps, Nicolette wants to provide Netball for juniors at all levels, offering them the pathway through the Club enabling them to compete at all levels and all age groups.

Nicolette holds her Level 2 Coaching award, and various other netball qualifications.
